*Obituary
Mrs. Marvin (Anita Ruth) Demings, 22, resident of the Tri-City area for 17 years, died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday in St. Anthony's Hospital, Amarillo, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday from First Baptist Church, the Rev. Joe Dee Ray, pastor, will officiate.
Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
Casketbearers are Jack McKinney, Manny Jackson, Marion Mitchell, Charles Mackey, Charles R. Horton and Larry Hertel.
Mrs. Demings was a member of First Baptist Church. She was graduated from Borger High School. While attending school she was a member of Rhoda Zoe Sub-deb Club, serving as president.
Surviving are her husband, Marvin and son, Philip of the home, 201 Avenue A, Phillips; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Chelf, Jr., two brothers, Randy and Bruce, and sister, Jan, all of 1504 Bedivere; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chelf Sr. of Tyler.
