*Obituary
Services for Charles O. Dempsey, 82, of Borger, were held at 2 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church in Borger with the Rev. Earl Staggs, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers were S.A. Pace, B.J. Scott, Herman Cole, C.L. Aaron and Doyle Whitefield.

Mr. Dempsey died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in Golden Plains Community Hospital in Borger.

A retired boilermaker, he was a native of Warner, Okla., and a Borger resident for 43 years.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Dempsey is survived by his wife, Mildred; and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Hale of Checotah, Okla.
