STINNETT - Susan Elaine Doughten, 48, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, in Amarillo.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday in St. John's Catholic Church in Borger. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. Guillermo Morales, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Susan was born Feb. 10, 1959, in Amarillo to Oliver and Mary Lou Earnest. She was employed as a teacher's aide, which allowed her to spend her days doing what she loved, being with people. Survivors include her husband, Casey Doughton; three children, Julie Lucero of Fritch, Rachel Salinas of Lubbock and Ryan Hand of Stinnett; two grandchildren; her mother, Mary Lou Earnest of Fritch; and two sisters, Margaret Ynacay of Katy and Janet Morrison of Fritch.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105; or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
