MRS. FANNY MOSES

On the morning of the 24th of April, just before the early dawn, a the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Carter, of 2229 Fairmont Street, Fort Worth, the quiet gentle spirit of Mrs. Fannie Moses was released from its earthly tenement and took its flight back to God who gave it.
The husband, daughter and only son were at her bedside, and every loving care and deed was done for her that mortal hands and skilled physicians could do, but she had lingered for some months and was too tired to keep up the fight, and expressed herself as being perfectly satisfied. Her remains were brought home to Rockdale, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Camp and Emory Camp Jr., from which the service was conducted Friday evening by Rev. D. C. Wallace and Rev. Jesse Garrett, and her remains laid to rest in the Odd Fellows Cemetery beneath loads of sweet flowers, expressing the sympathy of many friends.
Mrs. Moses was a long time member of the Baptist church, and a true believer in Jesus Christ, and we feel that while the voyage of life is over and the ship has passed beyond hailing distance of loved ones, yet the anchor has been cast in the port of everlasting peace, where they too may moor their vessel when the weary watch is over and meet the loved one and her Pilot face to face, if only we are counted worthy.
Mrs. Moses was an affectionate mother and wife and a true and dependable helpmate, and the family has the sympathy of our entire community. The same loving Father who cared for her yesterday, will care for her loved ones today, and in the shelter of His fold may they rest, feeling always as she felt, that every grief and every sorrow was sent in mercy and in love.
One softly whispered "she is dead," Another more discerning said, "He giveth His beloved sleep."
