*Obituary

Ruth Edwards, 72, Bedford, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1990, in Bishop Davis Nursing Home in Bedford.

Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

A native of Tyler, she was a Borger resident from 1937 to 1984, and lived in Bedford from 1984 until her death.

Mrs. Edwards was a homemaker, and a Methodist.

Survivors include one daughter, Edith Eckler of Bedford; one brother, Floyd Stamps of Gladewater; one sister, Mary Davis of Tyler; and four grandchildren.
