Gertrude Froust, 91, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St., with the Rev. Harold Bohr, retired minister from Olsen Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger.
Mrs. Froust was born in Tioga, La. She moved to Amarillo in 1973 from Borger. She was a homemaker and a member of Olsen Park Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She married William Fred Froust in 1923 at Tioga. He died in 1962.
Survivors include a son, C.W. Froust of Abernathy; a daughter, Marcile Suit of Amarillo; two sisters, Lois Ballard of Natchitoches, La., and Zella Haney of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at 3819 Hancock. They request memorials be to a favorite charity.
