*Obituary for Walter
Mr. Walter B. Gibson, 60, died at 2:42 p.m. Monday in Phillips Medical Center. He was a resident of Borger for the past 19 years, and was employed by Phillips Chemical Company, Plains Plant.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James G. Glenn, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Gibson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Borger, the Isom Masonic Lodge 1242, the Bunavista Lions Club and the Frank Phillips Men's Club.

Survivors include: Mrs. Anne Gibson, wife, of the home in the Cleaview [sic] Addition; one son, J.J. of Farmington, New Mexico; and one sister, Mrs. M.C. Downer of Cambridge, Ohio.

BORGER - Mrs. Ann Hawley, 67, died Sunday.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Robert E. Presnall, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Arrangements were by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Hawley moved to Durango, Colo., from Borger in 1967.

Survivors include the widower, Dallas; one son, J.J. Gibson of Durango; one brother, John Serota of Weaverville, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Valdez of Harlingen and Mrs. Mary Magness of Edinburg; and four grandchildren.
