RYAN, DONNA LYNN , Born September 9, 1962 passed away June 1, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer for the past twelve years. Donna was very active in the Highland Park Community, the Highland Park school system, and all the activities that her children were involved in. Donna was very proud of her children's accomplishments; David graduating from Highland Park High School and Kathleen from Highland Park Middle School this year. Donna was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, and Christian Bible Study. She is survived by her loving children David Bower Ryan, Kathleen Elizabeth Ryan, and Kelly Maureen Ryan; mother, Barbara Burns; father, Charlie Strader and her loving adopted mother Judy Strader; sister, Cynthia Strader; and Dr. William Ryan. The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 4, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Christ the King Catholic Church, presided over by Rev. Msgr. Donald F. Zimmerman. A wake will be held Friday, June 3, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (North Chapter) 8111 LBJ Freeway, Suite 425, Dallas, TX 75251.
