Sam Eldon Graham
October 2, 1937 - March 31, 2014

Eldon Graham, 76 of Borger passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 in Borger. Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko of Fritch Church of Christ and Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell funeral Directors of Borger.

Eldon was born October 2, 1937 in Quanah, Texas to Sam Thomas Graham and Helen Madeline Bischel. Eldon came to Borger in 1943, he was a carpenter. He married Margaret Ferguson May 20, 1958 in Borger, Texas. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed reminiscing and telling stories. His hobbies included taking walks in the country, crossword puzzles, and cooking. He was also an avid pool player.

Eldon is preceded in death by his parents, son Russell Graham, sisters Donna Lind, Lucille Graham and Bette Scott and a brother Melvin Graham.

He is survived by his wife Margaret of Borger. Son Frank Eldon and wife M'Leigha of Panhandle, Texas. Daughters Helen Thomas and husband Bill of Borger, Christine Wise and husband Eddie of Borger, Texas, and Monica Graham of Amarillo, Texas. Sisters Leatrice Graham of Alpine, Texas, Carole Graham and Linda Graham both of Denison, Texas. Grandchildren Matt and wife Jennifer Thomas, Jason and wife Deidra Thomas, Megan and husband Dustin Hill, Eric and wife Kristen Graham, Alex Graham, Samantha Bogges, Jonathan Bogges, Brett Wise, Rebecca Wise, Riley Graham, Reece Graham and Kinley Graham. Great grandchildren Ethan Thomas, Abigail Thomas, Avery Thomas and Maddox Dowling.

Margaret Marie Ferguson Graham, 74, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Margaret was born December 4, 1943 in Borger, Texas to Clyde Thomas Ferguson and Ozie Maple Tollett Ferguson. She married Sam Eldon Graham May 20, 1958 in Borger, Texas. After three decades of service to the Borger News Herald Margaret retired as Circulation Manager. She began her career delivering papers, which she did for 13 years, a circulation manager position came open and she took that job in 1986. Her job description covered a lot more than just; that she at times supervised mailroom employees, contract carrier and even handled complaints about newspaper deliveries.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam Eldon Graham; son Russell Graham; sisters, Terry Helen Ferguson, JoAnn Durham, Tommie Parkhurst; and brothers, Stonie Dee Ferguson, Clyde Ferguson, Jr. and Neil Ferguson.

Survivors include her son, Frank Graham of Canyon; daughters, Helen Thomas and husband Bill of Borger, Christine Wise and husband Eddie of Gardner, Kansas; daughter-in-law, Monica Graham Carlson and husband, Greg of Vancouver, Washington; grandchildren, Matt and wife Jennifer Thomas, Jason and wife Deidra Thomas, Megan and husband Dustin Hill, Eric and wife Kristen Graham, Alex Graham, Samantha Willard and husband Charles, Jonathan Bogges, Brett Wise, Rebecca Wise, Riley Graham, Reece Graham and Kinley Graham; great grandchildren, Ethan Thomas, Abigail Thomas, Avery Thomas, Hadley Thomas, Maddox Dowling, Ryleigh Hill and Audrey Willard; brother, John Ferguson and wife Mary of Pampa; and sisters, Sue Yohn and husband John of Borger, and Kathy Armstrong of Borger.
