Edie, FLORENCE, was born April 25, 1920 in Maxwell, N.M., raised in Johnston, CO. and passed away December 25, 2003 in Dallas, Texas. Beloved wife of 59 years, loving mother and grandmother. Resident of Dallas for 36 years, as homemaker and retired Federal Contract Administrator. Preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland B. Edie and her son, Kyle Dell Edie. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Johnson and husband Jay; sons, John Edie and wife Robin, D.C. Edie, and Dallas Edie; daughter-in-law, Janice Edie; brothers, Kenneth Sloan and wife, Mary Ann, John Sloan and wife, Carol; sisters-in-law, Helen Sloan and Betty Sloan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 28, at Sparkman/Hillcrest. Funeral services 10:00 A.M. Monday, Dec. 29, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy. Chapel. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association. Dignity Memorial Sparkman Hillcrest 7405 W. Northwest Hwy.
