STERLING, KIEL, Departed his beloved family, friends, and pets to be with his Lord and Savior after 90 beautiful years. He died peacefully at home June 17, 2005, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ann; daughters Peggi Smothermon and husband Bill, Patsy Watson and husband Bill; grandchildren Kirsten Woodruff and husband Rod, Mindy Smothermon, Trey Smothermon, Meaghan Watson; great-grandson Jamie Woodruff; sister Dona Hawley and husband Dave. He was born in Dallas on October 28, 1914 and attended Highland Park High School and SMU. He was President of American Beauty Cover Company until it was purchased by Taylor Publishing Company, where he remained as a sales executive until retirement at age 72. He was a member of Rotary Clubs of Park Cities and Downtown Dallas for a total of 54 years, where he received perfect attendance honors for 52 years. One of his great loves was singing with the Greater Dallas Rotary Chorus for over 50 years. His faith was very important to him and he was a long time member of Highland Park United Methodist Church. He faithfully served his country during WWII from 1943-1945 in the Army Air Force in the European Theater, stationed in Cyprus. Visitation will be from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm on June 21 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Services will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Chapel East at 11:00 am on June 22, 2005. Memorials may be sent to the Two by Two Fund, Highland Park UMC, 3300 Mockingbird, Dallas 75205; or RCPC Foundation, Rotary Club of Park Cities, 7557 Rambler Rd #700, Dallas 75231.

STERLING, ANN WOLFE Departed her beloved family, friends, and pets to be with her Lord and Savior after 92 beautiful years. She died peacefully at home December 15, 2006, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her daughters Peggi Smothermon and husband Bill, Patsy Watson and husband Bill; grandchildren Kirsten Woodruff and husband Rod, Melinda Helsley and husband Jeff, Trey Smothermon, Meaghan Watson; great-grandson Jamie Woodruff. She was born in Dallas on October 4, 1914 and attended the Hockaday School and SMU. Her grandfather, Lemuel Pinkney Wolfe, founded Wolfe City, Texas, and her father, Manson Horatio Wolfe, was instrumental in starting the Hockaday School. As a young adult, she worked for Mayor Woodall Rogers as a legal secretary at the law firm of Turner, Rogers, and Wynn. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority, the Standard Club, and the Canterbury Book Club. She was a long-time member of Highland Park United Methodist Church, belonging to both the Two by Two and Mr. and Mrs. Sunday School classes. Visitation will be from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm on December 18 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home. Services will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Chapel East at 3:00 pm on December 19, 2006.
