REILY, PAULITA "Paula" JEAN WALKER REILY, 74, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2004, in Farmers Branch, Texas. She was born on March 19, 1929, in Collinsville, Texas to Daniel Paul and Tennie Walker. She graduated from Collinsville High School and married Merritte "Bud" Reily, a WWII veteran and a retired Geologist. Paula was a lifelong Sunday school teacher for many Baptist churches, where they taught 6 year olds for 30 years. She was a member of Royal Haven Baptist Church. Paula is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Merritte "Bud" Reily; daughter, Anita Wharton and husband Don D. Wharton of Mt. Juliet, TN; son, Rev. Bill Reily of Berthoud, CO; grandchildren, Katrina Hildabrand, Melissa and Michele Reily, and Merritt and Matthew Reily; one great-granddaughter, Abi Hildabrand; sisters, Lorene Collins of Dallas, and Aline Farr of Collinsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2004, at Sparkman/Hillcrest. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2004, at Royal Haven Baptist Church, 10919 Royal Haven, Dallas. Rev. Rob Phillips and Rev. Carl Elder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation North Texas Chapter, 2824 Swiss Avenue, Dallas, TX 75204 or to the American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247 in memory of Paula Reily.
