Robert F. "Bob" Griffin, 75, 801 Bartush, died Thursday evening in his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Griffin of Indian Springs, Okla., and the Rev. Roy Henderson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Alvord, he had been a Borger resident for 56 years. He was a former longtime employee with Simpson and Alexander Funeral Homes, and was a retired maintenance foreman for Hutchinson County. He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Avil, May 5, 1979.
Survivors include his wife, Reta; six sons, Arnold Griffin and Ricky Griffin, both of Borger; Randy Griffin of Fritch; Robert Griffin of Owasso, Okla.; Butch Rodgers of Denver, Colo.; and Jimmie Rodgers of Borger; one daughter, Marcy Rodgers of Denver, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Avil Griffin, 62, of 1200 W. Wilson, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Gateway Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Hobson, pastor officiating and the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, assisting.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery by Alexander-Simpson Funeral Directors.
A resident of Borger since 1934, Mrs. Griffin was pronounced dead on arrival at 3 a.m. Saturday at North Plains Hospital. She was a member of the Gateway Baptist Church and its Adult Four Sunday School Class.
Born in Decatur, Mrs. Griffin married Bob Griffin on November 11, 1933 in Sayre, Okla.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Arnold and Ricky, both of Borger, Randy of Fritch and the Rev. Robert Griffin of Durant, Okla.; five sisters, Ida Spracher of Dumas, Ester Snider of Fritch, Thelma White, Eric, Okla., Dee Gunter of Borger and Ella Mae Burrell of Odessa; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Claude Robinson, Bill Griffin, Cecil Darden, Jay Brown, Dub Garrison and Jack Worsham. Honorary pallbearers will include the men from the Adult Four Sunday School Class.
