Obituary
Graveside service for Carl Derald Johnson, 86, of Seminole were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Gaines County Cemetery with Rev. Gwen Aldredge officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole.
Carl passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Seminole. He was born October 1, 1934 in Ft. Worth to Carl and Alma Inga Johnson. Carl joined the U.S. Navy in 1952-1955. He married Bobbie Cooper, May 26, 1972, in Ft. Worth. Carl worked for ICX Freight Company for many years. He was a member of the South Seminole Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bobbie Johnson.
Carl is survived by his step-daughter Cindy Spence and husband Ronny; two granddaughters, Angila Shook and husband Weldon of Seminole, and Shanna Sullivan and husband Jason of Alpine; four great-grandchildren, Blayne and Addison Shook, and Dalee and Cash Sullivan; two sisters; Katheryn Heatherly of Tyler, and Wanda Senning and husband Bill of Lubbock.
