Jearlee Hunsaker Gross died Saturday April 27, 2013 in Plano, Texas.

Jearlee H. Gross was born on February 24, 1926 to Mildred Johnson and Dave Hunsaker. She was raised in Wewoka, OK. Jearlee Hunsaker met and fell in love with L. Jack Gross when both were employed by Phillips Petroleum in Phillips, TX. They were married on March 18, 1950 at the Phillips Methodist Church in Phillips, TX. The couple later moved to Borger, and were members of the First Baptist Church there.

The couple was proud to have raised their two sons in Borger-Tom Curtis Gross and Lee David Gross.

L. Jack Gross left his position as an Engineer at Phillips Petroleum to start a successful business as an independent oil & gas producer. They were fortunate to have been able to travel throughout the world, often taking friends and family with them. They also maintained a second home in Lake City, Colorado for many years.

Jearlee continued to run L. Jack Gross Production after the loss of her husband "Jack" on January 4, 1987. The couple was long time supporters of education and charitable causes throughout their lives. Their efforts included a scholarship fund anonymously set up in the 1970s through Borger High School to send students in need of financial help to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. This program remains in place today.

Jearlee H. Gross was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and by a brother she cared about deeply, Frank Hunsaker.

She is survived by two sons and five grandchildren. Tom Gross who resides in Chandler Arizona, his two sons Jackie Gross of Amarillo Texas and Cody Gross of Mesa Arizona and his daughter Tommie Gross of Chandler Arizona. Lee Gross who resides in Plano Texas, his two daughters , Summer Gross and Kyndra Gross
