Obituary
Funeral services for Denese McKee, age 59 of Seminole, Texas will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Seminole, with Rev. Danny Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery (south). All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. McKee passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas following a lengthy illness. She was born May 13, 1951 in Lubbock to Francis (Tidwell) and Clift Shepperd. Mrs. McKee was a Christian and a member of the Baptist Church. She married Dennis Rodney McKee on December 24, 1968 in Seagraves, Texas.

Mrs. McKee had been a Gaines County resident her entire life. She worked as a waitress for many years, and was also a homemaker. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother; her family was her life.

Denese McKee is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by: Her Husband Rodney McKee of Seminole, Texas, 1 Son Joe McKee & wife Kerri of Seminole, Texas, 1 Daughter Shawna McLane & husband Kevin of Seminole, Texas, 1 Brother Rene Shepperd of Seminole, Texas , 1 Sister Francene Humphrey of Slaton, Texas, 6 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren.
