Jean E. Lacy was born on November 24, 1918 and passed away on January 16, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas and is under the care of Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.

*Obituary

LACY, JAMES W., SR., 88, was born June 2, 1917 and passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Lacy loved to play golf, was a professor at S.M.U., served in WWII as a Fighter Director Officer on Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Monterey. He worked as a mechanical engineer with Texas Instruments for over 30 years and after retirement was a consultant for the Computer Exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. Mr. Lacy is preceded in death by his parents, Paul L. Lacy and Jane Wigginton Lacy. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Allen Lacy; his son, James W. (Mimi) Lacy, Jr.; his grandchildren, James W. Lacy, III and Victoria Angelica Lacy; his brother, Paul L. Lacy, Jr. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Memorial Park.
