*Obituary for William
William (Bill) Arthur Haren, 76, of 1806 Boyd, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital.
A retired electrical foreman at the Phillips Refinery, Mr. Haren was a native of Aubrey, Texas and a Borger resident for 50 years.
He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355.
He is survived by one son, Fred L. of Houston; two brothers, C.A. of Stinnett and H.A. of Phillips; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Lockhart of Denton, and Mrs. Wilma Gaines of Lometa, Texas.
Funeral services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.

*Obituary for Vera
Mrs. Vera Belle Haren, 69, of 1806 Boyd, a resident of Borger since 1935, died about 12 a.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in the First Christian Church, with Dr. Kenneth Jones, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Haren was a retired Phillips Elementary School teacher. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Chapter 811; the Collectors' Club and a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur; and one son, Fred of Houston.
