Services for Willie Edmund Jackson, 74, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at Hope Deliverance Temple in Lubbock with the Rev. Charles Tanner officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. A memorial wake will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Jamison Funeral Home.
Willie Edmund passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004. He was born March 23, 1930 in Red River to the late Napoleon Jackson and Francis Johnson. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Annie Thomas; and a son, Edward York.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Arlene; 10 children, Janice Rush, and Willie Jr., Edward, Robert and Shanna Jackson, Wanda Onuzurike, Brenda Bilal, Rickey Brown, Lisa Strong, and LaKendra White; a sister; two brothers; 30 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of family members and friends.
