Obituary for Mabel
Mabel Lucille Kaster, 87, Borger, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1995 in her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Jones, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Floral, Kan., she had been a Borger resident for 31 years. She was a retired elementary school teacher in Dexter, Kan.
She married Press Kaster on Sept. 27, 1935 in Wichita, Kan., and they moved to the Panhandle Eastern Company, Sneed Camp in 1939. For a number of years, she managed the boarding house at the Sneed Camp. She was a member of First Christian Church.
In 1975, she was Senior of the Year at Opportunities Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Press in 1989, a brother, Wallace Constant; two sisters, Lena Hale and Margie Parker.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Cichocki of Borger; and two grandchildren.
Casketbearers will be Gerald Jueschke, Bob Wells, George Selvidge, and Bill Abell.
