Obituary for W. D.
FRITCH - W.D. Kay, 93, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor, and the Rev. John Denton, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mr. Kay was born Nov. 18, 1914, in DeLeon. He was superintendent of Sanford-Fritch ISD from 1953 to 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kay; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Gideons International, P.O. Box 5800, Borger, TX 79008-5800; or Odyssey Healthcare, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.

FRITCH - Barbara Kay, 92, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor, and the Rev. John Denton, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Mrs. Kay was born March 2, 1917, in Stephenville. She was a teacher for 20 years for Sanford-Fritch Independent School District.
Survivors include three grandsons, Bruce Hamilton of Tulsa, Okla., Brian Hamilton of Amarillo and Chip Hamilton of Oregon; a granddaughter, Tish Blackwell of Borger; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Fulfer of Jal, N.M., and Elmo Fulfer of Cleburne; and a sister, Edna Kuykendall of Los Angeles.
