BORGER - Jerrie C. Keith, 94, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, in Amarillo.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Hensley, pastor of Bunavista Baptist Church, officiating, Eulogists will be Phillip Howard, Marshall Keith, Jeffrey Keith and Dale Keith. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Keith was born Aug. 11, 1913, in Young County. He was owner of Jerrie Keith Co. He married Jewel Rawlings on May 17, 1933, in Clovis, N.M. He was a former mayor of Borger, city commissioner and member of the Rotary Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel on June 22, 1987; five brothers, Bruce, E.L., George, Virgil and Raymond; two sisters, Muriel Royall and Buna Fullwood.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry B. Keith and wife Mary Ann of Amarillo and Dale Keith and wife Cleta of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Virginia Howard of Escondido, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Howard, Marshall Keith, Jeffrey Keith, Bill Willard, Paul Robinson and Joe Janeway. Honorary bearers will be the Deacon Body at First Baptist Church.

The family suggests memorial be to a favorite charity.
