*Obituary
Sam Landers, 77, of Romayor, died Sunday in Romayor.
Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Emmett, Ark., he lived in Borger from 1926-1970. He was employed as a supervisor for Phillips Petroleum Company for 43 years before he retired. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Ellen of Romayor; three sons, Jerry Landers of Spring, Thomas Landers of Borger and Tony Landers of Evanston, Wy.; two daughters, Peggy Blaine of Pasadena, and Sammie Ross of Hillard, Ohio; one brother, Walter Landers of Quanah; two sisters, Susie Rodden of Blevins, Ark., and Ethel Birdwell of Dallas; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
