Obituary for D. E.
D.E. "Buddy" Langston, 83, of Borger, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994, in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
A retired employee of Panhandle Pipe & Steel, Mr. Langston was a native of Union Parrish, La., and a Borger resident for 65 years.
He was a Baptist. Mr. Langston and Sue Martin were married Nov. 8, 1936 in Borger. Mr. Langston also raised many children in his home throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Retha Langston, in 1970.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; one son, James Wayne Langston, of Grand Junction, Colo.; two daughters, Cherri Meek and Janet Langston, both of Dallas; two sisters, Leola Rising, of Borger, and Docia Plumlee, of San Angelo; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Obituary for Sue
Sue Langston, 87, of Borger, died Thursday, April 3, 1997.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Childers, Okla., she had been a Borger resident for 67 years.
She was a housewife and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, D.E. "Buddy" Langston, in 1994 and a daughter, Retha Langston, in 1970.
Survivors include one son, James Wayne Langston of Grand Junction, Co.; two daughters, Cherri Meek of Gatesville and Janet Langston Peterson of Garland; one sister, Mamie Harrison of Nowata, Okla.; 7 grandchildren, including LeAnne Langston of the home, and 10 great grandchildren.
