*Obituary
Wanda L. Lanham, 70, died Friday, March 9, 2001, in her home in Fritch.
Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Lanham was a native of Eric, Okla., and had been a Fritch resident for 40 years. She married Eugene V. Lanham on Nov. 29, 1947. She was a home health care nurse for Panhandle Home Health and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and Darrell Lanham, and a grandson, Brandon Janow, in 1997.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Lanham of the home; one son, Winifred Eugene Lanham of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Lois Wilson of Crawford, Okla., and Teresa Taylor of Stinnett; two brothers, Wayne Brown of Las Vegas, N.M., and Ray Brown of San Maria, Calif.; two sisters, Nina Hiller of Stinnett and Helen Hand of Spearman; 29 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist St. Anthony Hospice at P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79176-0001.
Casket bearers were Marvin Goodall, Earl Owens, Teddy Gray, Carold Lanham, Kenneth Lanham, John T. Lanham and Ray Kellogg.
