Obituary for William
BORGER - William J. "Bill" Lee, 84, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery with Masonic graveside rites rendered by Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355.
Mr. Lee was born in Kansas City, Kan., and had lived in Borger 54 years. He served in the Navy from 1935-38 and in the Merchant Marines. He was a seaman second class and fireman first class and served aboard the USS Whitney, USS Portland, USS Teal and USS Wright. He was a heavy equipment operator for Phillips Petroleum Co.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355. He was a Shriner, a Scottish Rite and a member of First Christian Church.
He married Ruth Domnitz in 1938 at Olathe, Kan. She died in 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Mooney of Borger and Linda Dollinger of Mcminnville, Ore.; two sisters, Margaret Fennimore of Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Vivian Taylor of Atchison, Kan.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to the Shriner Children's Hospital or BSA, Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001.
Masons to meet at 10 a.m. today at the Lodge.

Obituary for Ruth
Ruth Frances Lee, 62, of 214 Garrett, died at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at North Plains Hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church with Dr. Kenneth Jones, pastor of Yale Avenue Christian Church in Tulsa, Okla., and the Rev. Jeff C. Holder, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and had lived in Borger for 32 years.
She is survived by her husband, William; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Mooney of Borger and Mrs. Linda Dollinger of Portland, Ore., and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Ramsay, Larry Baltzer, Edgar Betts, Tex Tomlison, Jim Brown, and John Horton.
