Obituary
Funeral services for Layma Lee Lister, 87, were at 4 p.m. today at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Archie Echols, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Borger, officiating.

Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Lister died Monday, Dec. 5, 1994 in Amarillo.

A native of Lelia Lake, she had been a Borger resident since 1946. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, 20th Century Club, Borger Music Club, Hutchinson County Literacy Council and Friends of the Library.

She married L.R. "Ike" Lister in 1943 in Borger. He preceded her in death in 1982.

Survivors include a sister, Vera Scott of Joplin, Mo; two nieces and a nephew.

Pallbearers were Russell Weston, Ben Malone, Clay Cooke, Greer Smith, Leonard Schwind, and Rueben Thompson.

The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
