Obituary for F. D.
WOLFE CITY - F.D. "Rabbit" Lucas, 78, of Route 1, Wolfe City, died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday in Wolfe City.

A retired welder from Phillips, he was a native of Gunter, Alabama, and lived 56 years in Borger, along with one year in Wolfe City.

He was married in Springer, Okla., in 1929 to Lucille Moore, who preceded him in death in January, 1985.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Anita Hunter of Wolfe City, Mrs. Betty Wilson of Borger; one sister, Mrs. Addie Richardson of Fort Worth; two brothers, Alton Lucas of Baorger [sic], Garland Lucas of San Antonio; five grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Minton Memorial Chapel with Mr. Delmar Hightower, minister, Franklin Street Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Obituary for Lucille
Funeral services for Lucille Lucas, 69, of 1226 Roberts St., Borger, were at 2 p.m. today at Franklin Street Church of Christ, with Delmar Hightower, minister, officiating.

Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers were Thurmond Sanders, Jim Blair, E.C. Barnett, George Green, R.O. Gregg and E.P. Howard.

The family is staying at 1516 Gawain St., Borger.

Mrs. Lucas died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.

A homemaker, she was a native of Springer, Okla., and a Borger resident for 53 years.

She was a member of the Franklin Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of the home, F.D. Lucas; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Wilson of Borger, Mrs. Anita Hunter of Wolfe City, Tex.; two brothers, Albert Moore of Clarendon, and J.D. Moore of Houston; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
