Obituary for James
Services are pending at Minton Mortuary for James Homer Mason, 76, of 16 West Street in Phillips who died at 1:30 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.
Mason was born in Roxton, had lived in Phillips for 31 years and was a retired employee of Phillips Petroleum Company.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; one son, Joe Carl of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Knight of Pampa; one brother, Doc of Paris, and one sister, Mrs. Maude Randall of Paris; also eight grandchildren.

Obituary for Hazel
Services for Mrs. Hazel Mason, 72, of 16 West St., Phillips, who died at 7:30 p.m. Friday in her home, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church in Phillips.
The Rev. Jim Koonce, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Emmett, Ark., Mrs. Mason was a housewife and a Borger area resident for 37 years.
She was a member of First Methodist Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Knight of Pampa; one son, Joe Carl of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Rodder of Blevins, Ark., and Mrs. Ethel Birdwell of Dallas; two brothers, Walter Landers of Quanah and Sam Landers of Romayor; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
