Married Henry Thut Jr about 1910. Katie is buried in Hardin Family Plot. She died
one day after the birth of daughter, Georgia Katherine Thut aka Hardin Erwin Winfrey (1915 - 1986). Georgia is buried in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, Tarrant County, Texas.
After Katie's death Henry Thut married Katie's sister Mamie. Henry died 1942 and is buried in Pampa, Gray County, Texas
