FRITCH - A. H. "Fibber" McGee, 79, died Sunday, July 17, 1994 in the VA Medical Center in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church of Fritch with the Rev. Eddie Marcum of Friendship, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Stice, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Fritch.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

A native of Wills Point, he had been a Fritch resident for 60 years. He was a retired pipefitter-welder.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fritch, the Methodist Men, Scottish Rite, Steamfitters Union, VFW, the Billy Dixon Masonic Lodge No. 1369, and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell; two sons, Gerald Johnson of Elkhart, Kan.; and Billy Johnson of Sherman; two daughters, Jerry McCallie of Mena, Ark.; and Pat Hickman of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Lucretia Hobbs of San Antonio; a sister, Cliffie Maloy of Borger; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

FRITCH - Ruby Florence McGee, 77, Fritch, died at 6:47 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1989 in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Marcum, pastor, officiating.

A native of Oklahoma she had been a Borger resident since 1935.

Mrs. McGee was a housewife and member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, A.H. of the home; two sons Ed Gerald Johnson of Elkhart, Kan.; and Billy J. Johnson of Sherman; two daughters, Jerry McCallie of Mena, Ark.; and Patsy Hickman of Amarillo; three sisters, Esther Short of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Ola Todd of Norman, Okla.; and Mary Watson of Hooker, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
