*Obituary for Louis W.
Lewis [Louis] W. "Dick" Meadows, 75, died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday in Texas City.
A retired welder and pipefitter, he was a native of Midlothian and a Texas City resident for four years. He was a Borger resident from 1939-1983.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clella Mae Meadows in 1986.
He is survived by two sons, Eddie Bob Meadows of Texas City and Jerry Meadows of Jena, La.; one daughter, Dickie Ann Massie of Texas City; two brothers, Frank and Marvin Meadows, both of Lomita, Calif.; three sisters, Grace Bettencourt of Mesa, Ariz., Alice Rystom of North Ridge, Calif., and Ruby Layne of San Diego, Calif., five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
The family will be staying at 404 Chisholm Trail in Fritch.

*Obituary for Clella
Clella Mae "Sis" Meadows, 66, died Thursday in Texas City.
A homemaker, she was a native of Quanah and a Texas City resident for three years. She was a Borger resident from 1930 to 1983.
Mrs. Meadows was a Baptist and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 671. She was preceeded [sic] in death by her mother, Verdie Landers, in 1975.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis "Dick" Meadows of the home; two sons, Eddie Bob, Texas City, and Jerry of Jena, La.; one daughter, Dickie Ann Mass, Texas City; three brothers, James Landers and Horace Landers, both of Borger, and Bily Jack Landers of Boys Ranch; three sisters, Jo Purcell, Fritch; Doris Ferguson, Borger, and Pat Waldrip, Boys Ranch; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Landers Sr., Quanah; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will be staying at 404 Chisholm Trail in Fritch.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services are pending with Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
