BORGER - Amelia Merlene Melton, 76, died Monday, April 17, 2000.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Melton was born in Celeste. She moved to Borger in 1974 from Fort Worth. She attended Borger High School. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She married Kenneth Melton in 1963. She was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Melton and Kenneth Lewis Melton.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bruce Melton of Amarillo and Mike Melton of Fort Sumner, N.M.; four daughters, Pat Kreutziger and Diane Stavlo, both of Dumas, Karen Neslage of Borger and Tresa Ward of Weatherford; and 12 grandchildren.
