LEVELLAND (Special) Services for Myrtle Young, 85, of Levelland will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Austin Street Church of Christ with Keith Cormier, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors.
She died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She born Aug. 11, 1914, in Mountain Home, Ark. She had lived in Levelland since 1957 after moving from Idalou. She was a member of Austin Street Church of Christ and a homemaker. She married Sam Young on March 2, 1959, in Big Spring.
Survivors include her husband; two stepsons, Danny Young of Baltimore and Tommy Young of Colorado; four sisters, Mary Young of Levelland, Floy Brown of Flint, Maudean Keeler of Lovington, N.M., and Opal Ligon or Waverly, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
