James Thomas Mongold, 82 died July 16, 2006, in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with Rev. Bill Sizemore, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Mongold was born Feb. 16, 1924, in Lee Creek, Ark., and was a resident of Borger. He was a pipe fitter foreman and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife Marie Mongold; two sons, James Thomas Mongold Jr. of Liberal, Kan and Leland Dean Mongold of Omaha, Neb.; three stepsons, Doug Collier of Fritch, Steve Collier of Borger, and Ross Collier of Pampa; one stepdaughter Elaine Cox of Tyler; five grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 11 step great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Casket bearers will be Shawn Mongold, Justin Wallace, Ethan Collier, Matt Collier, and Drew Collier.
