Funeral services for Mary Robin Varner, 65, of Levelland will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Fifth Street Baptist Church, Levelland with Rev. Roy Prather, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. She died Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Lubbock.
Born on April 17, 1948 in Crowell, Texas to Jeff Norwood and Dorthell (Russell) Hardin, she was a longtime Levelland resident. Robin had worked for Bowman Enterprises in Levelland for many years. She married Danny Varner on March 8, 1990 in Levelland. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jeff and Dorthell Hardin, her brother, Jeff Hardin and her sister: Elizabeth Hardin and her mother in law and father in law.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Varner of Levelland, her son: Jerry Mulkey and his wife, Tina, also of Levelland, her step sons: Waylon Dan Varner and his wife, Melinda, Gerry Wayne Varner, Steve Dale Lawson, of Norman, Oklahoma, and a step daughter: Dana Ann Kelly of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Justin, Dylan, and Zachary Mulkey of Level-land, nine step grandchildren and her beloved furry companion, Tuffy.
