Sundown Woman Dies; Rites Set
LEVELLAND (Special) --
Mrs. Claude M. Odom, 47, a Sundown resident, died in a Levelland hospital about 8 a.m. Sunday following a brief illness.
A native of Meridian, she moved to Sundown from Crane about 21 years ago. She was a member of the Sundown Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the Sundown Church of Christ with the minister, Grover Ross, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland.
Survivors include the husband; two sons, Claude Wendell Odom, Decatur, and Darwin Ray Odom, Sundown; three granddaughters, Sharene, Rhonda and Mikki (supposed to be Nikki)Sue Odom, all of Decatur; one brother, Hayes Damron, of Crane; a sister, Mrs. Amos Rowe, of Whiteface; and two half brothers, Terry Sanders, of Covington, Ky., and Vird Sanders of Freeport.
