*Obituary
Elmer F. Morris, 50, of the Canadian Gasoline Plant, died at 7 a.m. Saturday following a heart attack at his home. He was pronounced dear on arrival at North Plains Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church, Phillips, the Rev. John Street, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under direction of Minton Mortuary.

Graveside rites will be under auspices of Plemons Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M.

Pallbearers will be Orville Carter, L.B. Monden, Warren Reed, Joe Whaton, Bill Johnston, Frank Brown. Honorary bearers are members of the Plemons Masonic Lodge.

Morris had been a resident of Hutchinson County since 1944 and was an employee of Phillips Petroleum Co. and was a member of the Plemons Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include;: his wife, Wanda, of the home; two daughters, Gail Morris of the Home and Mrs. Nancy Buffham of Fritch; two sons, Marvin of Houston and Harvey of Borger; two brothers, D.W. of Austin and Wallace of Georgetown; five sisters, Mrs. Connie Hooper {Cooper}, Mrs. Billy Bizzell, Mrs. H.M. Hamilton, Mrs. Barbara Sharp, all of Georgetown, and Mrs. W.L. Helgren, Austin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson Morris of Georgetown; five grandchildren.
