Bob was born Oct. 15, 1916, in Oblong, Ill., to Hershel and Ida Neeley. He moved to Borger as a young boy and had been a resident of Sanford since 1931. He married Vera Kilgore on May 13, 1951.

Bob retired in 1981 from Panhandle Producing Co. in Sanford after 37 years. Survivors include a daughter, Rosemarie Townsend and husband David; a grandson, Clint Townsend; two sisters, Mae Brazeal and husband Ray and Evelyn Fisher; many beloved nieces and nephews; and special friends, George and Marie Burdette and Jackie Gallentine.

The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174 or online at www.calfarley.org.

Viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
