ALMA REA "MARIE" FISHER, 92, a longtime former resident of Texas City, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 in Bryan, Texas.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Hayes-Grace Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fisher was born December 12, 1921 in Franklin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maggie Crisp; a son, Robert Proffitt; a daughter, JoAnn Weber; five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her son Jack Fisher, Jr. and wife Stacy; daughter Jevona Treherne and husband David; her brother John D. Crisp; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
