Inez LaVaughn Porter Nolen
January 1, 1946 - May 23, 2018
Inez LaVaughn Nolen, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Celebration Family Church with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, May 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
Inez was born January 1, 1946 in Vernon Parish, Louisiana to Guy Porter and Ida May Langton Porter. She married Harrell Wayne Nolen on September 17, 1965 in Leesville, Louisiana. Inez lived life to the fullest, she enjoyed gambling, going to garage sales, crocheting and sun tanning.
She will be remembered by her family and close friends as the adventurous woman she was. Wherever she went there was sure to be a laugh to follow and a few bags as well. When Inez was around there was never a dull moment. Whether it was rodeos or ball games she was the loudest person in the crowd.
Inez is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, David Nolen; granddaughter, Charlee Alexis Rowe; and brothers, Pat Porter and Ray Frisby.
Survivors include her sons, Brent Nolen of Stinnett, Jody Nolen and wife Marie of Stinnett; daughters, Tanya Duffield and husband Larry of Stinnett, Donna Easley and husband Donald of Fritch, Cecilia Rowe and husband James of Stinnett; grandchildren, Brittney, Casandra, Colten, JC, Josh, Justin, Kellie, Bret, Whitney, Kendall, Devon, Desiree, Shauna, Noah, Madison, Zoe, Hannah, Christian, Joshua, Amanda, Jacob, Chloyee, Lillian, Lachelle, Kenneth, Jeran, Lula, Sawyer, Everett; thirty-one great grandchildren; brother, Buddy Porter of Alexandria, Louisiana; and sister, Lea Popham of Floresville, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Fite, Phillip Alders, Cody Nolen, Cory Nolen, Larry Duffield, and Thomas Layton.
