BORGER - Louis O'Dell Palmer, 83, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009.

Private services will be by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Mr. Palmer was born Nov. 10, 1925, in Carrizo Springs to Lee and Arbell Palmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had worked as an operator at Phillips Petroleum.

Survivors include a daughter, Del Simmons of Borger; two sons, Bill Palmer and Tom Palmer, both of Lake Meredith; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter St., Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106.

BORGER - Audry Maxine Lawrence Palmer, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007.

Memorial services will be at a later date. Private burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.

Audry Maxine Lawrence Palmer was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Durant, Okla., to William Burton "Skeeter" and Evelyn Ann "Ebbie" Lawrence. She was funny, witty, a good friend, a lover of musicals, scary movies, and animals.

Survivors include her husband, Louis O'dell Palmer; a daughter, Dana Simmons; two sons, Bill Palmer and Tom Palmer; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be to Bethany Wright Cancer Fund at Pantex Federal Credit Union.
