*Obituary
R.D. "Pete" Perry, 56, of 1318 Potter, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in his home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Holder, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial [sic] Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Mountain Park, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 47 years. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and member of the Presbyterian Church and VFW.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn, two sons, John of Skellytown, and Tom of Borger; one brother J.B. Perry of Borger; two sisters, Mrs. Irma Nettles of Borger, and Mrs. Doris Sult of Deleon.

Pallbearers will be K.D. Johnson, N.E. Riley, John Gillespie, Bill Smith, Paul Brown, and Ed Dodd.
