LEVELLAND — Services for Grace Draper Dupre, 98, of Levelland will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Austin Street Church of Christ with Hugh Forehand and Gary Dennis officiating.
Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors of Levelland.
She died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002.
She was born May 31, 1903, in Florence and married John Dupre on Nov. 3, 1931, in Portales, N.M. He died Jan. 20, 1968. They traveled with the Army until 1938, when they moved to Levelland. She volunteered at well-baby clinics in the area for a number of years.
She was a member on the committee which was instrumental in the establishment of South Plains College in Levelland. She was a member of the Hockley County Senior Citizens and played with the Kitchen Klatter Band for a number of years. She was a member of Austin Street Church of Christ.
