Nancy J. Ingram Jones left this earthly world on April 5, 2014 in Lubbock, TX surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on January 24, 1943 to Dorris Alton Green and Ruby Opal Thomas in Sweetwater, TX much to the delight of her older sister and brother. She always lit up the room with her beautiful smile and joyous laugh. She loved God and her family & friends with all of her being. She loved to sing, study the Bible, and spend time with her family, friends and dogs. In her prime, she was an amazing cook who delighted everyone with her delicious creations. She was a loving mother and grandmother. A lifelong Texan, she lived in Sweetwater, Big Spring, Coahoma, Mt. Pleasant, Clarksville, Abilene, and finally in Whitharral with her youngest daughter. She leaves many friends from those communities.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Arlis Kent Ingram, her husband, Bobby Jones, and her special friend, Diana, one of the Three Musketeers.

She leaves behind her sister, Ruby D. Bagwell, of Clarksville and her brother, Don W. Green of Salt Lake City and his wife, Marge. She also leaves her beloved daughters, Krista Ingram and husband Dave Hill of Groton, MA, Amy Ingram Abbe of Whitharral, Cindy Moetteli and husband Randy of Dallas and her son Dempsy Jones and wife Kathy of Abilene. Eight grandchildren: Richard Lomas & and wife, Geri of Levelland, Jennifer Lomas and Steven of Whitharral, Kristopher Lomas & Courtney of Whitharral, Jeremiah Lomas & Brenda of Levelland, Kira, Lara & Meredith Hill of Groton, MA, and Richard Abbe of Denton; eight great grandchildren: Madison & Nicole of Whitharral, Lenora, Morningstar, Athena, Elijah, Nyla, & Nolan of Levelland. She also leaves her nephews Greg Bagwell of Abilene, Scott Bagwell and wife Teresa of Azle, Michael Green of Salt LakeCity, and her nieces Juli Bagwell of Oklahoma, and Deborah K. Robertson of Salt Lake City, as well as many grand nephews and nieces. She also leaves behind the father of her three children, Gibby Ingram & his wife, Sherry of Wolfforth. Finally, she leaves behind her childhood friend, Virginia, the final Musketeer.

Her beloved grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be on Monday April 7 between 6-8pm at George Price Funeral Home in Levelland. Services will be at 3pm on Tuesday April 8 at George Price Funeral Home. Please wear something yellow or colorful to celebrate Nancy's life. She may be gone from this earth, but she lives on in the hearts of everyone she encountere
