*Obituary
Robert H. "Bob" Pollakowski, 58, of 1518 Bedivere St., died at 4:16 a.m. Sunday in St. John's Hospital in San Angelo.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Bud Kidwell, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Chase, Mich., he had been a Borger resident for 32 years. He was a retired businessman. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Reed, Mich., and Isom Masonic Lodge 1242 and Elks Lodge 1581, both of Borger. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; four sons, Steve Pollakowski of Borger, Tracy Sharber of Lubbock, Rex Sharber of Canyon; and Dr. Anthony Sharber of San Angelo; a daughter, Lynette King of Amarillo; two sisters, Pauline Karsikas of Marne, Mich.; and Jo Gassman of Baton Rouge, La.; and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Borger's Adobe Walls Gun Club or to any favorite charity.
Pallbearers were Marvin Madden, J.S. Whitesides, Dr. Tom Logan, J.C. Campbell, Dave Hough, and Don Garton.
