Betty Ann "Buddy" Henderson, 81, of Amarillo died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Dwight Kirksey officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Mrs. Henderson was born March 8, 1931, in Perrin to Finis and Rose Hill. She lived most of her life in Borger, where she was a graduate of Borger High School. She married Bill Sharber in 1949 in Borger. He passed away in 1969. She married Bob Pollakowski in 1974 and he passed away in 1984. She then married Al Henderson in 1990.
Mrs. Henderson loved her Lord and was a charter member of Celebration Family Church in Borger. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to travel and laugh and was a wonderful cook. She was a nationally ranked trap shooter and also enjoyed hunting.
Most of all, she loved being "Buddy" to her family and grandchildren.
She had a wonderful zeal for life and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynette King of Amarillo; two sons, Rex Sharber and wife Susan of Fritch and Dr. Anthony Sharber and his wife Brenda of Glenrose; a stepson, Steve Pollakoski of Borger; a brother, Bill Hill and wife Betty of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
