*Obituary
BORGER - Max Poole, 84, died Sunday, March 14, 2010.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Central Baptist Church in Borger. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Borger by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Poole was born Feb. 2, 1926, in McCurtain County, Okla., near Broken Bow to Henry and Willie Woodruff Poole. He married Wilma McCollom on Oct. 9, 1953, in Borger.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Maxie Poole of Rosesharon, Roger Poole of Katy, Rodney Poole of Fritch and Tracy Poole of Borger; two daughters, Barbara Kerr of Houston and Reesa Kellin of Wheeler; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Red Poole of Monticello, Utah, Lloyd Poole of Amarillo and Gene Poole and Virgil Poole, both of Pampa; and three sisters, Helen Nokes of Pampa, Imer Jean Bond of Arizona and Maudine Skidmore of Dove Creek, Colo.
