Howard D. Preslar, 80, Borger, died at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 1990 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Minton Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Art McAninch, pastor of Fairlanes Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

A native of Sanco, Texas, he had been a Borger resident since 1951.

He was retired from Phillips Petroleum Company, and ranching.

Mr. Preslar was a member of Future Farmers of America, and received an honorary chapter farmer degree in 1961, was an owner of 4-H Stock Farm, member of American and Texas Aberdeen Angus Association and a sponsor of the 4-H Club. He was a Baptist.

He married Dolores Campbell Aug. 5, 1946 in Borger.

Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Howard C. Preslar of Overton; and Bart Preslar; two daughters, Patricia Richardson of Riverview, Fla.; Phyllis Beamguard of Bartlesville, Okla.; two sisters, Louise Whiteside of Robert Lee, Texas; and Florence Evans of Lamesa, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Dolores M. Preslar, 76, Borger, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Steve Miller, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Preslar died Saturday, March 13, 1993 in Houston.

A native of Millersview, she had been a Borger resident since 1951. She was retired owner of Fairlanes Grocery, and a Baptist.

She married Howard D. Preslar Aug. 5, 1946 in Borger.

Survivors include a son, Howard C. Preslar of Overton; two daughters, Patricia Richardson of Riverview, Fla.; and Phyllis Beamguard of Houston; two sisters, Allie Dillard of Eden; Opal Bryan of Cleburne; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Norman Dillrd [sic], Jodie Richardson, Larry Beamguard, Tom Radosevich, Marnie Turpin, and Brent Fisher.

The family requests memorials be made to Dr. Hughes, VGI Program, Kelsey-Seybold Foundation, 1709 Dryden, Suite 1114, Houston, Texas, 77030.
