Juan G. Rangel
December 22, 1928 - December 31, 2017
Surrounded by his loving family, Juan Garcia Rangel passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Caprock Nursing and Rehabilition Center, Borger.
He was born December 22, 1928 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Jose and Paula Garcia Rangel. He married Irinais in Mexico and she preceded him in death.
Mr. Rangel was a construction worker and has been a resident of Borger for 40 years. He loved being with his family and his sense of humor was his greatest asset. He was a giving, caring man. "He Loved to Love", a phrase that each and every one in his family agree with.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irinais; a son, Jesus Rangel; a daughter, Rosa Delia R. Villescaz; a brother, Fausto Rangel of Mexico; a sister, Helena Rangel of Stinnett and his parents.
His survivors include 13 children: Jose Rangel of Borger, Modesta Ramirez of El Paso, Margarita Pichardo of Borger, Paula Verdier of Stinnett, Luis Rangel of El Paso, Amada Banda of El Paso, David Rangel of Witchita [sic] Kansas, Alicia Rangel of Portland Texas, Guadalupe Saenz of Borger, Lucia Segura of El Paso, Juan Rangel of Borger, Ruben Rangel of Borger and Cynthia Aguilera of Borger; 50 grand children; 36 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren and many many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Borger.
Mr. Rangel will lie in state Wednesday, January 3 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until service time.
Services have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
